December 2000 - Don't let the title fool you. "A Heaven on Earth" is not a book about religion, nor does it promote any particular spiritual group's point of view. In fact, it was written by a skeptic, AKA cynic, AKA atheist. Although the book has run afoul of a few of the "politically correct," the author does not shy away from offering a new perspective on such delicate and charged issues as homosexuality, abortion, cultural pride, discrimination, law and justice and many other subjects of concern to us all.
