When was the last time you read a book to your child that began: "My Dad is terrific. Everyone in my house thinks he's a great guy."? For me, the answer was never. Until now.

Lynette Samuel author, wife, and mother of three, has written a children's book that I found irresistible for a surprising reason -- it's benevolent treatment of dads.

I tested it first on my three children (ages 10, 12, and 14). I thought the book was a little young for them, but decided to try it anyway. Results: on a scale from 1 to 10, they rated Daddy's T-shirt 10, 9.5, and 9.5! Not too shabby.

Lynette Samuel captures the everyday and the ordinary in her writing. She makes real life situations come to life in storybook form. Families relate to her ideas and concepts, "see themselves" as they enjoy their reading experience, and smile because they do.
