Vonnegut Applauds ... Vogelstein Foundation Agrees
Merry McInerney-Whiteford wins Vogelstein Grant

January 1999 - "This person is a writer. This person has a lot to tell us.", wrote Kurt Vonnegut about emerging author Merry McInerney-Whiteford.

The Ludwig Vogelstein Foundation this week expressed agreement by granting McInerney-Whiteford its maximum award in support of her third novel, If Wishes Were Horses.

McInerney-Whiteford's most recent novel, Dog People (ISBN: 0312856997), was published in June of this year by Forge Press. It is available on the Internet at www.Amazon.com (reviews, biography and excerpt), www.barnesandnoble.com, www.bordersbooks.com, and at local bookstores.
