October 1998 - Denver, CO -- The Internet Monitor announces two new seminars covering marketing techniques for the specialized niche markets of schools and libraries: Marketing Basics and Internet Marketing Strategies. These seminars will be conducted by three experienced, knowledgeable well-known experts in these markets.

"Over the past 15 years, we've worked with many of America's largest and most successful education and publishing companies," said Carol Waugh, Vice President of The Internet Monitor. "As consultants to the publishing community, we have helped publishers develop products, plans and promotions that are productive and profitable. Now we are putting all this information into a seminar format so smaller companies can take advantage of our accumulated knowledge."

The seminars are to be information-packed, fast-moving and practical. Every workshop participant will receive a comprehensive 50 page Workbook - chock full of checklists, formulas, resources, market trends, funding sources and other practical information to make their school and library marketing programs more successful.

"We are also inviting a number of educators and librarians to visit with the participants over lunch," said Linda Winter, President of the Winter Group. "We feel it's important for marketers to get direct feedback from the people they are trying to reach with their messages."

"In-depth sessions each afternoon will give participants the opportunity to ask specific questions and take advantage of specialized one-to-one consultation" explained Kathy Kleibacker, President of Kleibacker & Associates. "They'll also have the opportunity to interact with other school marketers whose opinions, ideas and experiences will be extremely valuable."

The cost for attending the seminars is $199.00 per person per seminar. The fee for both days is $350.00 and two or more attendees from the same company will receive a special price of $179.00 per person per day or $315.00 for both days.

The seminars will be held in Denver, CO on November 3-4, 1998, Philadelphia, PA January 27-28, 1999, San Francisco, CA March 4-5, 1999, and in Orlando, FL March 16-17, 1999.
